I light to create physical pieces as much as digital ones. In particular I like to create jewels with a variety of technics and materials such as wood, metal or resin. Here are a few examples.
This pendant made of brass was created as a thesis gift. It represents recent telescopes composite mirrors such as the one of the JWST satellite, made of several hexagonal mirrors instead of a single unique piece.
Creations made of recycled computer components, two earrings and a matching pendant.
"Pillars of creation" series: the colours and aspects of this series are inspired by the famous Pillars of Creation photograph taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. Series composed of three pendants and a pair of ear-rings.
"Nebulae experiments" series: willing to fuse my passion for art and science, I am inspired in particular by astronomy. I here experimented to recreate a nebular aspect to the resin part of the jewels. Series composed of seven pendants divided in three distinct styles.
Science is often opposed to religion, yet they are not mutually exclusive.
This special piece was made to represents both the scientific mind and religious beliefs of its wearer, with the resin part of cross made to ressemble a starry sky.
"Artic" series: I have interest in many other sciences than astrophysics, and in particular when there is a link to ecology, such as polar extrapolation, the inspiration of this series of four pendants.
Out of series. Those are unique pieces or experiments such as including silver leaf within the resin.
